Once upon a time, in a small town, lived a boy named Russ Halsey. Russ, or Russie Hals, was always finding himself in different kinds of predicaments at school.

One clear and cheerful morning, Russ decided to surprise his classmates with a joke. He hid a rubber spider in the teacher’s desk. When Mr. Smith, the cheerful and caring teacher, opened the cabinet, she jumped back in shock, making the whole class giggle uncontrollably.

Russ felt proud of his prank, but Mrs. Thompson gave him a stern look and said, "Russ Halsey, you need to be more responsible|You need to behave better, Russ Halsey|Russ Halsey, it’s important to act responsibly}."

Another day, Russ brought his pet frog to school. He revealed it to his friends at recess, and everyone was thrilled. They called the frog Jumper.
